Hello San Francisco, your cards are ready.

I’m pleased to announce that the San Francisco version of the Bicyclist’s Accident Report card has been printed and is ready for its new home in your wallet! As you can see, these cards were printed by Huckleberry Bicycles, and they’re currently available in their lovely shop at 1073 Market Street, between 6th and 7th.

When I was out in San Fran looking for a sponsor to print and distribute my cards, Huckleberry was the first place that most people suggested. They’re a new shop, and they’re looking to become your new shop.

And based on what I saw when I was out there, they’re headed in the right direction. Zack and Jonas are great guys, and they really seem to know their stuff. Also, as we were talking, they would politely suspend our conversation to go greet a new customer every time one entered the shop — the true sign of a committed, helpful staff. In other words, exactly what I’m looking for in a local partner.

The shop itself is nice and big, with bikes for every type of rider. In addition to their bikes, they have a great selection of bags, lights, panniers and other accessories, as well as lots of commuter-friendly clothing. If I hadn’t been on such a tight schedule during my last visit, I would have spent a lot more time exploring their wares. There was definitely some interesting stuff for sale that I had never seen before.

So, San Franciscans, help show the guys at Huckleberry Bicycles that their decision to cover my printing costs was a smart one! Go check out the shop and pick up a couple of my cards. Hopefully you’ll never have to use them.

Yours,
Josh

PS: Because the owners of Huckleberry are pretty busy running their new shop, they won’t be able to get out much to distribute the cards in the rest of the city. If you know of a cycle-friendly spot that would be interested in giving them out, send me an email and we’ll make it happen.
